Inspired by the mythical Scottish village that appears every 100 years, we launch Brigadoon!, a floating village composed of canal boats offering a range of goods and services to traverse London in perpetuity. None less than Sir Tony Robinson invites you to get involved.

Beginning in Ladbroke Grove with four fabulous boats we begin a program of two-week long encampments timed to arrive in central London for Christmas. If you’re a Roving Trader, with goods or services to complement our live music, theatre and historical tours, join us to create a critical mass of activity that will generate traffic to benefit everyone, and demonstrate a new strategy that makes London a profitable destination for roving traders again.

Featured vendors include Captain Ali Sis’s Baltic Seafood Barge and Historian Canice Bannon’s remarkable  Dutch Sailing Barge Linda, Loki’s pizza and vendors from world-famous Portobello market offering crafts and objet’s d’art on the boats and on shore.

Follow Brigadoon!

The flotilla of “Brigadoon!” will appear and disappear two weeks at a time along the length of the Paddington Arm and Regents Canal.
