What is Bards on Boats?
Bards on Boats is a floating venue for music, theatre and workshops that bring London’s canals alive. Our principal vessel is the Molly Anna, a 58’ wide beam equipped with full length stage and cosy living room. It is perpetually on the move, hosting “cosy concerts”, educational programs and sparking transformation at places like the Sainsburys “Stumpery” and Mary Seacole Memorial Park.
What is Brigadoon?
Under the banner of “Brigadoon!”, Molly Anna is headquarters for a flotilla of canal boats offering a range of goods and services, appearing and disappearing two weeks at a time along the length of the Paddington Arm and Regents Canal, (the two principal canals that transect London).
Your Canal Boat Community Interest Company is our not-for-profit partner organization, created to address the London performance community’s Covid-19 era challenges, identifying appropriate canal side locations for live performance, educational programs and community-building activities.
A map showing our locations over the next coming months is shown below.
